    Shri.S.SUBRAHMANYAM

    Shri . S.Subrahmanyam was a great scholar of Tantra and Veda. He rediscovered the close affinity between Vedic and Tantric thoughts. He was initiated into the esoteric path of Srividya by his father Sri.Subrahmanya Sastri. He explained the esoteric meanings of many profound terms of Tantra, which dispelled many wrong notions of people about Tantra and Tantric practices.

    His first book is ‘Sri Krishna, The Supreme Immanence’, which is an interpretation of the story of Lord Krishna in the light of Vedic concepts. He was appreciated for this book by scholars like Dr.T.M.P.Mahadevan and Sri.M.P.Pandit.

    He has a lot of disciples from various walks of life. He taught his disciples to experience the divine and to lead life as divinely inspired beings.

    He devoted many years to the study of Saundaryalahari and explained the hidden meanings of many terms which differ from the traditional interpretations followed by other scholars.

    Sri.Subrahmanyam attained eternal rest at the feet of Divine Mother on March 6, 1985 at the age of Eighty-Two.

"If you believe in God and He turns out to exist, then you have obviously made a good decision;
however, if He does not exist, and you still believe in Him, you haven't lost anything;
but if you don't believe in Him and He does exist, then you are in serious trouble."
(An apt quote for the present day when atheism is seemingly in rise from B. Pascal - A scientist from the past.)
